The Basics
This insurance
scheme has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the
activities of UK Gymnastics Ltd and is only available to members of UK
Gymnastics Ltd.
This is a ‘Non-Advised Sale’ which in simple
terms means that YOU must ensure that the policy offered by the scheme
provides adequate cover for the activities that YOUR individual club
undertakes.
The scheme is designed around the needs of actual
clubs and not individual coaches. If you are seeking cover as an
individual coach, then this scheme is not suitable for you.
The cover provided, in very simple terms, is as follows.
Club Activities
1.Organisers of Gymnastics and Trampolining, provision of Education in Gymnastics and Trampolining, Sports Body.
2. Training and practice, competitions, social events, coaching and ownership or hire of premises.
Who’s covered
Your Club officials, coaches, members and volunteers. The policy also provides ‘Member to Member’ Liability.
Policy Cover
Employers’
Liability £10,000,000 in respect of all losses arising out of one
original cause including costs and expenses. Public Liability
£5,000,000 any one accident or series of accidents arising out of one
original cause including costs and expenses.Products Liability
£5,000,000 in total any one period of insurance
A £500 excess applies in respect of each and every claim for Public and Products Liability.
Personal Accident
1. Accidental Death £5,000
2. Loss of two or more linms/eyes £15,000
3. Loss of one limb or eye £7,500
4. Permanent Total Disablement £15,000
5.
Temporary Total Disablement 75% of weekly salary, coaches only, max
payment £100/week benefit period 26 weeks. Deferment period 28 days.
Legal Expenses
£50,000 any one claim Policy provides cover for Legal Defence, Tax Protections and Employment Disputes.
